I personally tested many of the top streaming web sites and found that one stood out the most, so it wins my vote for one of the best movie streaming sites. If you’re like me, you haven’t had much luck trying to download or stream movies online, which is why I created this review for the best movie streaming sites. I was looking for a way to either download or stream movies onto my computer, to eliminate the need for a TV and monthly cable bills.  All the top free online streaming sites were time limited viewing sites like megavideo or  potentially illegal downloads (like torrents or P2P file sharing sites).  None of these options won the title of best movie streaming sites because:

  • Certain downloads are illegal
  • Viewing was limited to a certain amount of time
  • Videos had slow loading and buffering times
  • There were pop-up ads, spyware and other malicious techniques
  • I found too many sites with suspicious & misleading links

Out of all of the best movie streaming sites, the winner I found was iMovies Club, which has none of the above negative characteristics.  Instead, it allows you to either legally stream or download the movies from their databases directly (so speeds are much higher than torrents or P2P file sharing).  Obviously iMovies Club is not perfect, but in my opinion it is one of the best movie streaming sites available at the moment.

So, after finally deciding to pay for one of the best movie streaming sites, I have never been happier.  I don’t have (or need) a TV and don’t want to pay for ridiculous monthly cable, movie channels, pay per view, setup and hardware rental fees.  Don’t get me wrong, it does have down sides as well.  Here are my opinions of the pros & cons:

Obviously it’s not perfect, but I can tell you that it is one of the best TV streaming sites available at the moment.  Before stumbling on this solution, I tried everything from downloading torrents, watching megavideo links and streaming specific channels online.
